Grapefruitcello

Grapefruitcello Like Limoncello but with grapefruits!

Here we will give you all the instructions you need to make Grapefruitcello. If you do not like Grapefruits, do not have grapefruits, or do not know what grapefruits are (50 cent the rapper actually does not know what a grapefruit is) you can supplement this recipe with another citrus of your choice.

Supplies

1 bottle of Arroyo Vodka

12 Grapefruits

2 Mason Jars

Zester

Step 1: With your zester, grate off the rind of each grapefruit onto a plate (this is a tedious process, greyhounds are recommended to get you through it) . Once you have removed all of the zest divide up the zest evenly between the 2 clean mason jars. Pour in the vodka.

Step 2: Put your mason jars in a dark cupboard for 1 month to allow time for the grapefruit rinds to macerate in the vodka.

Step 3: Pull your jars out of their month long hibernation and assemble the following items

A pitcher

A medium to fine net strainer

1/4 cup of simple syrup

Whisk or spoon

Step 4: Set up your strainer over the pitcher and pour the contents of the mason jar through the strainer.

Step 5: Rinse out the Mason Jars

Step 6: Pour contents in pitcher back into mason jars and add 1/8th a cup of simple syrup into each jar (or add more or less depending on your taste preference) and stir with spoon or whisk

Now you have made your very own Grapefruitcello!
